Socio-Economic Impact
We intend to create jobs and invest in community-led development programmes.
After Implementation
We have created an open-source design to encourage and initiate collaboration among key social groups (such as fishermen/women and youth), environmental organisations, the government, and interested investors. At each stage of our process, vulnerable communities have the opportunity to get involved and hone their skills, and there are various entry points for locals to contribute to the fight against a critical issue.
In addition to restoration, the improvement of the damaged fishing system will help the fishing community recover their income and promote these locations for eco-tourism in the long run. We will provide funding to assist communities in further climate adaptation and ensure that our activities result in sustainable livelihoods and behaviour change.
